TapouT XT Day Ten - Plyo XT
Day ten of TapouT XT, a milestone with Plyo XT. Instead of just trying to get through the Plyo workout we worked on getting the most we could out of it, a definite change since last week. I still had to take several small breaks to keep my heart rate in check but substantially less than before. During the workout Mike refers to it as TapouT Legs and the workout is true to that name. By the end I thought one of my legs was going to give out, good stuff.
Today is also a measurement day so we took our photos and such but our overall results are just OK. We are more focused on the final results especially with following our own diet. We don't drink soda, beer (not Gout friendly) or other sugar laden things so there wasn't anything to cut that would make us drastically loose weight. We've been eating mostly well for several years so we have to loose weight through exercise. I wish I could have dropped five pounds and grew some awesome pecks overnight but we live in reality.
Ten Day Opinion
TapouT is a great program that should get us the results we want. It will probably take two rounds but we understand our fitness levels, our goals and what it took the last time we got in decent shape. At the end of the first round we will probably be stronger than anytime before which will help us trim the fat as we go forward. It's too early to really know what results we will get but we are positive that good changes are to come.
As a workout program TapouT XT is awesome. It's hard, fun, challenging and Mike is extremely encouraging and positive. The workouts are under an hour unless Ultimate Abs is tacked on which is only another 15 minutes. It's fast paced but I find myself going slower when I need and sticking with the DVD as much as I can. Usually I start at their pace and end up in a grind, like many of those in the video do!
We are very happy with choosing TapouT and I especially look forward to getting in our daily workout. It has become the break in our day from work to relaxation. We have 80 (74 if we stick to the workout calendar) days to go to complete round one. That seems like a lot but achieving day ten happened really quickly. This is our first 90 day program, really any DVD program, so we don't have anything to compare it to just what our overall results will be.
